The investigation team of Satreskrim Polres Karanganyar
The investigation team of Satreskrim Polres Karanganyar today picked up three suspected cases of alleged persecution in Diksar Mapala UNISI Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta. The three suspects are TA, NA and HS.
Three other suspects, DK, TN and RF are still in search. Karanganyar Police Chief, AKBP Ade Safri Simanjuntak, urged them to immediately surrender.
"We expect them to immediately surrender, so that the investigation process can run effectively and efficiently," he said on Sunday (21/05/2017).
The police are also looking for their whereabouts. "We are still putting a team to look for them," Ade said.
The three suspects were arrested today in Ngaglik Sub-district, Sleman District. TA was arrested by the roadside at 11:00 am. While NA and HS were arrested at the friends home of HS at 15.00 pm.
"They are not in their boarding positions, they have been moved, and when arrested, three suspects do not fight, then search and seizure of clothes used when diksar," he said.
Tonight, the three suspects will be directly examined by the investigating team. The police have also provided legal counsel for them.
"We provide legal counsel (PH), while waiting for the three suspects to submit their own PH. Until now the investigation team has not received a letter of authorization from the six suspects," he said.
